Position Overview: The role involves coordinating and supervising financial units, benefits, student financing, costs, accounts payable and receivable, treasury, assets, warehouse, and purchasing, promoting integration, standardization, and synergy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead annual financial and budget planning aligned with the foundation's guidelines and university strategic goals.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure liquidity and sustainability.
- Supervise the proper use of resources allocated to scholarship, financing, and student benefit programs.
- Ensure bank account reconciliation, transaction verification, and accuracy of financial and accounting data.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring punctuality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Manage and safeguard the integrity of the university's assets.
- Develop and update administrative and financial policies to ensure operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze financial indicators, consolidating managerial reports and strategic dashboards for senior management decision-making.
- Conduct negotiations with banks, suppliers, service providers, and financial partners.
- Support internal and external audits, responding promptly to recommendations and legal requirements.
- Assist strategic decisions regarding institutional expansion, infrastructure investments, and structural adjustments in the financial model.
- Implement continuous improvements in processes, systems, and routines, aiming for digitization, integration, and operational excellence.
- Perform other related activities as directed by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate or Master's degree in Finance, Controllership, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership positions within the financial area, preferably in educational institutions or large organizations.
