Job Description: Business Development Associate (BDA) – Latin America (LATAM) Focus

This is a part-time, 1-year internship program starting in December 2024, located in São Paulo, Brazil. The program is designed to transform your potential and develop high-impact sales skills, preparing you for a career in Sales Development at Salesforce. As a BDA, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the sales process, including:

  1. Lead Management and Nurturing: You will manage and nurture Partner Leads (PLs), working closely with consulting partners to ensure a smooth lead handover and progression through the sales funnel. This involves qualifying PLs, aligning with partners on next steps, and ensuring timely follow-ups to increase conversion rates. You will also qualify inbound leads from various sources (marketing campaigns, events, website traffic) using Salesforce’s Customer 360 platform.
  2. Lead Generation: You will conduct outbound lead generation activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, focusing on pipeline generation across multiple segments.
  3. Collaboration and Sales Support: You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Sales Executives to drive interest and schedule discovery meetings. A key part of this will be showcasing Salesforce platforms through live demonstrations.
  4. Account Research and Strategy: You will perform research on target accounts, identify key contacts, and help develop personalized outreach strategies.
  5. Training and Development: The program includes ongoing training sessions and shadowing opportunities to learn best practices in sales engagement and opportunity creation. You will leverage Salesforce’s CRM platform to track and manage your prospecting activity, ensuring proper follow-up and lead conversion.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Enthusiasm for a career in sales and technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivation and a passion for learning and personal growth.
  • Previous internship or work experience in sales or customer service (a plus).
