Job Duties
  1. Develop expertise in specific aspects of our technology and services portfolio to educate customers, operations, and business development teams on features, advantages, and benefits.
  2. Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is responsible for delivery execution, including pursuing excellence in daily activities, identifying customer technical needs, and providing technical recommendations for proposals.
  3. Assist in diagnosing and communicating solutions delivery issues, utilizing detailed knowledge of specific products, services, and solutions.
  4. Help establish strategic direction by understanding local customer business drivers and challenges, and identify opportunities for upselling within the geographic area.
  5. Maintain awareness of the external market and collaborate with various teams to identify growth opportunities and technology gaps.
  6. Contribute to project priorities based on market understanding and customer needs.
  7. Execute tactical plans set by management and ensure all operations comply with HSE and OE policies and best practices.
  8. Utilize project management skills for organizing and executing assignments, providing guidance to less experienced staff.
  9. Manage budgetary responsibilities impacting revenue and service quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the energy services industry, with a minimum of 5 years as a field professional.
