The Role
As part of the International Compliance team, you will oversee WTW’s compliance in Brazil by:
- Managing and developing the overall compliance program applicable to Brazil;
- Assessing compliance and regulatory risks across all WTW segments and functions;
- Responding to regulatory developments;
- Creating and implementing the annual risk-based Compliance Plan for Brazil, aligned with country and legal entity plans;
- Overseeing and challenging business management’s assessment of governance and regulatory risks;
- Providing guidance on business conduct and ethical standards, including the Code of Conduct, to promote a strong compliance culture;
- Investigating breaches of regulatory requirements or WTW policies, ensuring proper resolution;
- Offering regulatory advice and supporting stakeholders in understanding their obligations;
- Monitoring business activities in line with the Compliance Plan and ad-hoc requests;
- Escalating issues and breaches to relevant leadership and stakeholders;
- Maintaining relationships with regulators and key business partners.
The Requirements
- Based in Brazil;
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and corporate governance principles;
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to engage effectively at all levels;
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to compliance risks;
- Ability to work under pressure and independently;
- Committed to continuous professional development and staying updated on regulatory changes;
- Proven success in fast-paced, high-pressure environments;
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple priorities;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and/or corporate risk management;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
