Job summary

Cyberdrone is expanding its Brazil office in São Paulo to cover South America and the United States. We seek a Drone Show Designer (3D Artist) to design and develop state-of-the-art animations for our drone shows.

This is a remote role with preference for candidates in São Paulo to collaborate in person when possible. You will work with our existing team, creating 3D models and animations, performing physics checks, and delivering ready-to-flight shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Design or 5+ years industry experience.
• 2+ years in drone shows, motion design, game-dev or VFX.
• Knowledge of physically based simulation techniques.
• Deep understanding of CG animation pipelines.
• Experience with task-management frameworks and client approvals.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with organized workload.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Our head office is in Dubai and we already have a strong artist team over there.

Now, we're expanding our office in Brazil (São Paulo) with a goal to cover shows in South America & the United States, and we're looking for someone who wants to help build something exceptional.

We're looking for a Drone Show Designer (3D Artist) over there who will work with our existing team. You would help them design and develop state-of-the-art animations for our clients. Do you want to paint the sky with your art? This is a remote role, with preference given to candidates based in São Paulo to meet the local team and collaborate in person.

Tasks:

• Developing 3D models for drone shows
• Developing animations and transitions for drone shows
• Running physics checks and making corrections
• Developing take-off and landing sequences
• Implementing feedback according to the technical or client requirements
• Creating static preview and animation preview renders
• Assembling ready shows and preparing them for flight

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts/Design or 5+ Years industry experience
• 2+ Years industry experience in drone shows, motion design, game‑dev (TechArt/Real‑Time VFX) or VFX
• Working knowledge of physically based simulation techniques
• Deep understanding of the CG animation pipelines
• Working knowledge of task‑management frameworks and software tools.
• Working knowledge of the client approval process
• Able to manage a time‑sensitive workload with an urgent and extremely organized manner
• High attitude to details
• Experience working with off‑site team members
• Analytical problem‑solving skills
• Team player approach with the ability to take direction/feedback
