Qualifications

• At least five years in fashion design, concept art, 2D art, or related creative discipline.
• Outstanding portfolio showing full pipeline artwork from concept to final assets.
• Experience owning creative projects from ideation to delivery.
• Strong sense of fashion trends, visual culture, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for ideation and production.

Responsibilities

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior 2D Artist based in Brazil.

Join a creative team shaping digital fashion and self-expression for a virtual platform enjoyed by millions of players worldwide. As a Senior 2D Artist, you will take full ownership of fashion-driven releases, transforming original concepts into polished digital clothing, accessories, character designs, and promotional assets. You will combine exceptional artistic craftsmanship with a strong understanding of fashion trends, visual culture, and player preferences to create distinctive, highly desirable digital items. Working closely with creative leadership and production teams, you will guide the visual direction of your releases from initial sketches through final production. You will also leverage AI-assisted creative tools to accelerate ideation and streamline workflows without compromising originality or quality. In a fast-paced, remote-first environment with weekly releases, you will have the creative freedom and responsibility to continuously raise the standard of digital fashion.

Accountabilities

• End-to-end creative ownership: Lead the complete production lifecycle of digital fashion releases, from initial concept ideation and concept art to final asset creation, promotional visuals, and merchandising materials.
• Digital fashion design: Create visually distinctive clothing, characters, accessories, and other digital fashion items that demonstrate a strong artistic point of view and reflect contemporary fashion culture.
• Visual quality and craftsmanship: Deliver consistently exceptional artwork across every stage of the creative pipeline, maintaining premium quality standards for weekly releases.
• Creative direction: Establish and drive the creative vision for assigned releases, translating scheduled themes into compelling concepts while maintaining artistic independence and originality.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director and Producer to align creative concepts, project scope, production priorities, and delivery deadlines.
• Feedback and iteration: Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and player communities, refining artwork to improve its impact, relevance, and reception within the platform.
• Team development: Provide constructive, actionable artistic feedback that helps other artists improve their skills, elevate their output, and maintain consistent quality standards.
• AI-assisted workflows: Use AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation, explore visual directions, support iteration, and improve production efficiency while retaining ownership of artistic decisions.
• Production efficiency: Balance speed and quality in a high-output environment, managing multiple creative stages and delivering polished assets within tight weekly release cycles.
• External artist collaboration: Coordinate with external artists and creative studios when needed, ensuring that outsourced work meets established artistic standards and remains consistent with the overall visual direction.

Requirements

• Professional experience: At least five years of experience in fashion design, concept art, 2D art, or a related creative discipline. Experience in live games, digital fashion, or fast-paced production environments is highly desirable.
• Exceptional portfolio: A high-quality portfolio demonstrating outstanding artistic ability across the complete creative pipeline, from initial concepts and refined artwork to final assets and promotional materials.
• End-to-end project ownership: Proven experience taking creative projects from initial ideation through final delivery, rather than specializing exclusively in one stage of production.
• Strong fashion sensibility: A deep understanding of fashion, contemporary trends, visual culture, styling, and aesthetics, supported by a distinctive creative perspective and the ability to translate trends into compelling digital designs.
• Digital art proficiency: Strong practical skills with industry-standard creative software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint.
• AI-assisted creative expertise: Familiarity with modern AI-powered creative tools and workflows for concept exploration, visual iteration, and production acceleration, with the ability to maintain artistic quality and make independent creative decisions.
• High-speed execution: Demonstrated ability to produce polished, professional-quality artwork under tight deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail or creative standards.
• Creative leadership: Ability to establish a clear artistic direction, make confident creative decisions, and take initiative without requiring detailed instructions at every stage.
