Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and foster continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement and uphold security best practices throughout development and deployment.
• Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system uptime.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong networking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Database administration experience.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies.
