About The Role

As a NinjaOne DevOps Engineer, you are a key member of a smart and challenging DevOps team. Responsible for the upkeep and well-being of the NinjaOne cloud infrastructure, as well as deployment and release management of our suite of IT Operations SaaS products. You will collaborate with our Development, QA, Security Operations, and Corporate IT teams to ensure that our platform is up and running for our clients. We are a fast-paced growing company, you will ride the wave into the future of DevOps technology. Implementing CI/CD and creating platform as code across the NinjaOne infrastructure landscape. Helping us pioneer new regions and enable us to grow revenue, through projects and efficiencies.

Location

We are flexible on remote working from home, but you must be located in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico.

Technical Stack & Experience

NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowledge of large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design, and client-server architecture will help you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and deploy secure, compliant infrastructure in AWS: Drive automation in infrastructure deployments, shaping long-term technology strategies.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines: Develop and maintain a cutting-edge CI/CD framework, integrating testing and automation tools.
• Establish best practices: Define procedures to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Lead technical projects: Manage complex infrastructure projects for scalable solutions.
• Monitor and support infrastructure: Proactively monitor and support cloud infrastructure, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Provide support: Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, own tasks and tickets.

About You

• 6+ years in a cloud-based DevOps environment, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience with automated cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS.
• Proficiency with tools like AWS CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, SSM Scripts.
• Experience with agile tools (Jira, Confluence), version control (Git, BitBucket), deployment strategies.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools, CircleCI experience a plus.
• Experience deploying and integrating software solutions in cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in cloud operations for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ability to coach and guide a team.
• 5+ years working with *nix OS (Linux, MacOS, BSD, IBM AIX).
• 5+ years scripting with Shell, Go, Python, PERL, Tcl/Tk.
• 5+ years in production environment monitoring, alerting, change management.
• Experience with cloud storage technologies like S3 and EFS; NoSQL familiarity a plus.
• 3+ years with message middleware like AWS SNS, SQS.
• Experience with RDBMS (RDS, Aurora, Postgres); NoSQL a bonus.
• Desirable: experience with caching technologies like Elasticache.
