Jobtailor is seeking a DevOps Consultant to guide DevOps/DevSecOps maturity for B2B services. You will design and evolve CI/CD pipelines, standardize environments, and implement observability across development, staging and production.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in DevOps or SRE in corporate, mission‑critical environments.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience administering and operating cloud environments (GCP and Azure).
• Automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell and/or Python).
• Experience with Node.js and React, including deployment to cloud.
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and GitOps (Argo CD/Flux).
• Familiarity with npm/yarn/pnpm and semantic versioning.
• DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Git workflows and PR-based development.
• Ability to consult across multiple teams.

• Work as a DevOps Consultant, supporting development teams and guiding the evolution of DevOps/DevSecOps maturity.
• Serve as a technical reference for DevOps and DevSecOps practices across squads and business areas.
• Design, implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines for secure, traceable deliveries.
• Support standardization of development, staging and production environments.
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging and alerting practices.
• Drive continuous process improvement to reduce manual failures and increase reliability.
• Create and maintain HLD/LLD, C4 models and runbooks.
• Define integration standards (APIs, Webhooks, messaging, streaming).
• Ensure security by design: IAM/RBAC/ABAC and secret management.
• Develop observability architecture: metrics/logs/traces with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger/Tempo, Datadog/Dynatrace/New Relic.
• Collaborate with development, data, security and operations teams.
• Support digital transformation, system modernization and cloud migrations.
• Act as a technical reference for less senior developers.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Work as a DevOps Consultant, supporting development teams and guiding the evolution of DevOps/DevSecOps maturity, promoting automation, reliability, security and operational efficiency across the application lifecycle that supports the B2B services directorate.
• Serve as a technical reference for DevOps and DevSecOps practices, supporting squads and business areas.
• Design, implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous, secure and traceable deliveries.
• Support the standardization of environments (development, staging and production).
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging and alerting practices.
• Drive continuous process improvement to reduce manual failures and increase environment reliability.
• Create and maintain HLD/LLD (High/Low-Level Design), C4 Model (Context/Container/Component/Code) and runbooks.
• Define integration standards (API Management/Apigee, Webhooks, messaging: Event Hub/Service Bus or Pub/Sub, streaming: Kafka/Confluent when applicable).
• Ensure security by design: IAM/RBAC/ABAC and secret/password management (Key Vault/Secret Manager/VaultOne).
• Work on observability architecture: metrics/logs/traces with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger/Tempo, APM tools (Datadog/Dynatrace/New Relic).
• Collaborate closely with development, data, security and operations teams.
• Support digital transformation, system modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Act as a technical reference for less senior developers.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, best practices and operational standards.

Requirements

• Solid experience in DevOps or SRE in corporate and mission‑critical environments.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience administering and operating cloud environments, especially GCP and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and automation via scripting (Bash, PowerShell and/or Python).
• Experience with JavaScript and Node.js, including:
  • Supporting and automating Node.js backend applications.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts, CLIs or auxiliary services for pipeline and operations automation.
  • Integrating with REST APIs, Webhooks and internal services.
• Knowledge of React, focusing on:
  • Providing technical support to frontend teams regarding build, deploy and versioning.
  • Understanding the build cycle (npm/yarn, bundlers, environment variables).
  • Supporting the deployment and operation of frontend applications in cloud environments, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architectural perspective applied to CI/CD, IaC and automation, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) and GitOps (Argo CD/Flux).
• Familiarity with dependency management (npm, yarn, pnpm) and semantic versioning.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management and pipeline security.
• Experience with code versioning (Git) and pull‑request based workflows.
