We seek a Development Architect to join the Concur Platform Profile/IES team. In this role you will design, develop, and deliver high‑quality services that support our flagship travel‑booking and spend‑management solutions. You will work with cross‑vertical teams using an agile, cloud‑first approach and drive excellence in software design, security, and scalability.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deliver new features as part of an agile team.
• Write services in NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Python, Java, and deploy them using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AMI‑based pipelines.
• Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to meet security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements such as FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (completed or in‑progress).
• Extensive professional experience as a software developer.
• Architectural expertise for highly scalable, resilient applications with performance and cost efficiency.
• Proficiency writing clean, maintainable code in Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Python or other modern languages.
• Experience coaching or mentoring developers on best practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests; knowledge of TDD or BDD is a plus.
• DevOps mindset with continuous delivery and observability expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes and AWS primitives (EC2, AMI, EKS, Dynamo, etc.).
• Knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases (Oracle, SQLServer, Dynamo, Mongo, Redis).
• Experience with C# and ASP is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate internationally.
