Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Senior Backend .NET Developer based in Brazil to design, build, and maintain scalable services in a distributed environment.

You will work with .NET, Azure, Kubernetes, REST APIs, messaging, and event-driven microservices, while engaging in production troubleshooting and end-to-end problem solving. This role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, observability, CI/CD, and applying AI-powered tools to coding, debugging, and automation.

Qualificações

• Solid professional experience with C# and .NET Core 6+.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and integrations.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deployments, pod troubleshooting, scaling, rollbacks, and log analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of messaging and event-driven architectures, using Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience with SQL Server or another relational database.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience creating and maintaining unit and integration tests.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain messaging consumers using C#/.NET and Azure Functions.
• Build, maintain, and evolve REST APIs and integrations between multiple systems.
• Work within an event-driven microservices architecture involving distributed services and complex business rules.
• Integrate systems through REST APIs and asynchronous events, ensuring reliable communication and processing.
• Investigate and resolve messaging failures, dead-letter queues (DLQs), integration issues.
• Troubleshoot distributed production environments, including Kubernetes pods, logs, scaling, rollbacks, and deployment issues.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational activities across Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes environments.
• Debug end-to-end flows spanning events, consumers, external APIs, and databases.
• Apply unit and integration testing practices to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Use AI-powered development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to evaluate problems and define robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to observability, deployment processes, system resilience, and engineering practices.

This is a senior backend engineering opportunity focused on building reliable, scalable services in a distributed environment.
You will work extensively with .NET, Azure, Kubernetes, APIs, messaging, and event-driven microservices.
The role combines hands-on development with production troubleshooting and end-to-end technical problem solving.
You will help connect multiple systems, investigate complex failures, and ensure resilient integrations across the technology ecosystem.
There is strong exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and modern engineering practices.
You will also use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity across coding, debugging, analysis, and automation.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain messaging consumers using C#/.NET and Azure Functions.

• Practical experience using AI tools for software development, such as KIRO or similar coding and productivity assistants.

• Comfort working with distributed systems, multiple integrations, and complex dependencies.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the autonomy to investigate and resolve production incidents.

• Clear communication and collaboration skills for discussing technical solutions and working effectively with engineering teams.

• Experience with Docker, including image builds, Docker Compose, and troubleshooting, is desirable.

• Knowledge of Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifests, HPA, probes, and resource limits is a plus.

• Experience with Elasticsearch, including queries, aggregations, and indexes, is desirable.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OData APIs is a plus.

• Knowledge of feature flags and gradual rollout strategies is desirable.

• Experience with observability tools such as Application Insights, Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Experience integrating legacy and modern systems or working in education/CRM domains is desirable.

• Experience with generative AI beyond coding assistants, including LLM integrations, RAG, and embeddings, is a strong plus.
