Job summary

Arionkoder is seeking a Delivery Manager to own delivery strategy, client relationships, and margins across multi-project engagements. You will translate contracts into one integrated delivery plan and ensure alignment from proposal to handoff in fully distributed teams.

You will surface scope gaps, manage risk, and drive post-mortem improvements, while coordinating with pre-sales, PMOs, and staffing to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software delivery in a services/consulting context with 3+ years as Delivery Manager or equivalent.
• Track record owning client relationships at account level with steering committees and reviews.
• Hands-on ability turning contracts and SOWs into delivery plans with milestones and inter-project dependencies.
• Margin and cost awareness with tracking of estimated vs. actual costs.
• Strong risk management to identify, log, assign and mitigate risks early.
• Experience coordinating with pre-sales, PMOs, and staffing to prepare teams before kickoff.
• Comfort reviewing change requests for estimation quality and delivery risk.
• Experience running post-mortems and driving improvements across projects.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira/Confluence or similar tools.
• AI-first working style: uses AI for planning, reporting, and documentation.
• C1 English; comfortable leading conversations with senior stakeholders in distributed teams.

We’re hiring a Delivery Manager to own delivery strategy, client relationships, and delivery margin across multi-project engagements. You sit above individual projects: you make sure what we sign can actually be delivered, translate contracts into one integrated delivery plan, and keep every team, PM, and client stakeholder aligned from proposal to handoff.

You keep deliverability, margins, and commitments honest while negotiations happen. You join before the contract is signed, surface scope gaps, cross-team dependencies, and unrealistic assumptions, and work with the Account Executive team on what a compressed timeline or a scope change really costs. Once work starts, you are the escalation point for problems that exceed a single team, the person who runs progress and risk reviews with the client, and the early radar for expansion opportunities.

You care about surprises the way an engineer cares about bugs: each one is a signal the process can be improved. You run post-mortems, capture what worked, and turn it into standards that make the next engagement smoother.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in software delivery in a services or consulting context, with 3+ years as Delivery Manager, Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent, overseeing several projects or teams for the same client
• Track record of owning client relationships at the account level: steering committees, monthly or quarterly reviews, escalations, and negotiated trade-offs
• Hands‑on experience translating contracts and SOWs into delivery plans, including milestones, UATs, and inter‑project dependencies
• Margin and cost awareness: has tracked estimated vs. actual cost and acted early on deviations
• Strong risk management: identifies, logs, assigns, and mitigates risks before they become escalations
• Experience coordinating with pre‑sales, PMOs, and staffing/recruiting to get teams ready before kickoff
• Comfort reviewing change requests for estimation quality and delivery risk
• Experience running post‑mortems and driving process improvements across projects
• Familiarity with agile delivery and the tools around it (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
• AI‑first working style: uses AI tools daily for planning, reporting, and documentation
• C1 English; comfortable leading conversations with senior client stakeholders in fully distributed teams

Preferrable

• Experience delivering AI, data, or ML projects
• Background working with US clients in a nearshore model
• Experience building delivery governance from scratch: kickoff checklists, reporting decks, way‑of‑working models per contract type
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certifications

What This Person Will Own And Do Day‑to‑day

Contract and engagement setup

Sync with the proposal team to understand the options being offered and flag unrealistic assumptions. Review final SOW assumptions so they can be executed without hidden margin loss. Once the deal is signed, turn the contract into an integrated delivery plan with the PMO, coordinate with Casting & Recruiting on team readiness, and map internal and external stakeholders, responsibilities, and processes.

Kickoff and ways of working

Agree with the client on communication channels, delivery workflow, validation, and sign‑off. Onboard them to our engagement model so we share language and expectations. Support PMs in presenting delivery structure, escalation paths, customer responsibilities, milestone roadmap, and KPIs, and make sure they have the templates, dashboards, and tooling to act as one front.

Strategic client management

Run monthly or quarterly progress, risk, and status reviews. Monitor client satisfaction across all projects. Act as the escalation point for problems that exceed a single team, and negotiate solutions and trade‑offs. Spot service or product expansion opportunities and hand them to the Account Executive.

Delivery health and margin

Coordinate delivery across multiple projects and teams. Make sure change requests are properly estimated and risk‑reviewed. Protect delivery margin by keeping costs close to estimates. Ensure training, documentation, and handoff plans match client expectations.

Continuous improvement

Run post‑mortems and capture lessons learned. Propose and implement improvements to the delivery process, and drive standardization and best practices across projects through the vertical leads.
