In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing database solutions, as well as engineering data pipelines that support analytics and reporting. Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server (SSMS, T-SQL, performance tuning)
• ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Debugging and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Version control (Git or equivalent) for database code
• Backend Data Engineering
• Experience working across data platforms and enterprise database systems

Soft Skills (Must-Have):

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Proactive communication and self-starting attitude
• Ability to work with loosely defined scopes and evolving requirements
• Clear written documentation
• Effective communication in remote/hybrid environments

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Google BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, and optimization
• Knowledge of GCP data services (Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions)
• Data ingestion tools and patterns between on-prem SQL Server and GCP
• Experience migrating databases from SQL Server to GCP
