YipitData is expanding its Central Data Team and seeks a Data Associate who can transform messy product data into high-quality metrics used by clients to analyze performance and drive decisions.

The role focuses on end-to-end data-product ownership, encompassing data quality control, collaboration with Insights and Engineering, and mentoring peers as the team scales in a fast-growing environment.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark.
• Experience using sample or panel data to guide decisions.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to learn quickly.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1).

About The Role

We’re currently working on expanding our Central Data Team to increase our product portfolio with members who build, create and maintain our data products. Those with strong analytical skills who are passionate about data and excited to scale quickly to deliver top-tier products to our clients are encouraged to apply. The Data Associate plays a critical role in transforming messy, raw product data into high-quality metrics that our customers rely on to analyze performance and make decisions. The core of this role is applying strong judgment to shape imperfect data into consistent, scalable, and analytically meaningful outputs. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 3–5 years of experience who is eager to deepen their data analysis skill set, gain direct exposure to clients, and join a rapidly growing team at YipitData at an early stage. As a Data Associate, you will independently manage data quality end-to-end, resolve complex issues across data pipelines and sources, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and clearly understood.

As a Data Associate, you will:

• Ramp up quickly to become the primary owner of high-impact data products, driving product success by delivering best-in‑class outputs with a focus on accuracy, client value, and efficiency
• Design, maintain, and run comprehensive QA processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability across assigned sector products & client deliverables
• Independently investigate and resolve complex data quality issue
• Serve as a trusted resource for internal and external stakeholders by understanding client needs and aligning them with our data methodologies, limitations, and coverage
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Insights and Engineering to align on best practices to deliver customer value, and develop technical solutions that streamline workflows, optimize data processes, and expand automation
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, robustness, and data quality within your team’s workflows, and mentor peers accordingly

You Are Likely To Succeed If

• You have 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
• You have 3+ years of experience working with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, or others, to explore and transform large, complex datasets; Familiarity with Github and Databricks is beneficial
• You have experience using sample or panel data to make precise estimates that guide decision making
• You have a proven track record of quickly learning new concepts, particularly complex data methodologies
• You can clearly communicate complex concepts, both orally and in written
• You have a strong ownership mentality and are enthusiastic about making a big impact at a rapidly growing company
• You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently prioritize tasks and make strategic decisions based on client needs
• You enjoy mentoring peers and raising the quality bar through shared standards and best practices
• You have an Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
• Preferred: Experience supporting market intelligence or data analytics (especially with brand manufacturers and/or retailers with a strong understanding of their business needs)
