99 in São Paulo is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to assist the Data & Insights Specialist. You will help extract data, build interactive dashboards, and transform raw data into actionable insights powering operational decisions.

You're curious, hands-on, and excited about technology, AI tools, and automation. The role offers hands-on learning across Brazil operations and opportunities to work with growth, marketplace, and product teams.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Intermediate English.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn fast.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Data & Insights Specialist in extracting, cleaning, and modeling complex datasets for Growth Operations.
• Build, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and performance reports to support executive decision-making.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify operational bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
• Help eliminate manual reporting through automated data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Assist in monitoring core operational metrics and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
• Explore and test modern analytics and AI tools to improve data processing and reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve business problems through data.
• Continuously improve data structures and how teams access key metrics.

Team Overview

At 99, we're building the technology and intelligence layer that powers our Operations teams.

As a Data Analytics Intern, you'll work directly with the Data & Insights Specialist to help extract data, build interactive dashboards, perform deep-dive analyses, and transform raw data into actionable insights that power operational decisions.

This is not a traditional operations internship. Instead of manually updating spreadsheets and reports, you'll help us eliminate them through advanced data solutions and automated reporting.

We're looking for someone curious, hands-on, and excited about technology. Someone who sees complex datasets and immediately thinks: "There must be a story and a value-creating insight hidden in here."

You'll have the opportunity to work with data, automation, AI tools, dashboards, and internal products that impact C2C, B2C, and Freight operations across Brazil.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the Data & Insights Specialist in extracting, cleaning, and modeling complex datasets for Growth Operations.
• Build, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and performance reports to support executive decision-making.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify operational bottlenecks, growth opportunities, and key performance trends.
• Help eliminate manual reporting routines through automated data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Assist in monitoring core operational metrics and translating data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Explore and test modern analytics and AI tools to improve data processing and reporting efficiency.
• Work closely with Operations, Marketplace, Analytics, Sales, and Product teams to solve real business problems through data.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify data structures and improve how teams access key metrics.

Role Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Intermediate English
• Strong curiosity about technology, data, automation, and AI.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn fast. Comfortable working with data and solving problems.
• Ability to take ownership and execute independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Positive energy and a builder mentality.
• Must have Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, or similar.
• Personal projects involving automation, dashboards, bots, or AI applications.
