Job description

We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The role involves developing standardized documentation for new routines, participating in building a Data Lake in Azure, and contributing to the unification of data understanding within the organization.

Main responsibilities

• Develop standardized documentation to record new routines, ensuring clarity and consistency, while leveraging Cloud Computing benefits for flexible and efficient data infrastructure;
• Participate in building a Data Lake in Azure environment;
• Contribute to gaining business context knowledge and unifying data perspectives;
• Define policies and processes for Data Governance;
• Catalog organizational data and establish control mechanisms within data governance processes;
• Establish and maintain best practices and standards related to data architecture;
• Work on projects ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Requirements and skills

• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Processing, or related fields;
• Experience with agile methodologies;
• Knowledge of DMBOK;
• Experience implementing a Data Governance Program;
• Knowledge of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD);
• Knowledge of Data Modeling;
• Ability to understand business and technology needs.
• Desirable: SQL knowledge; experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL); experience with Metadata Management tools.
