Casado is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform expertise to design and implement production-grade data solutions. The role is remote-based in Brazil, long-term contract, and focuses on building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.

You will work with BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker/LookML, and data governance tools to deliver reliable data assets for business stakeholders. Collaboration across teams and effective communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience building production-grade data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep, practical knowledge of BigQuery (SQL optimization, slot management) and Dataflow (Apache Beam in Python or Java).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, alongside expert-level SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault 2.0).
• Experience writing LookML, building explores, and managing Looker deployments.
• Familiarity with GCP Dataplex, Apache Atlas, or similar data governance and cataloging suites.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is a major plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle open-ended, complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering and business stakeholders.
