Job summary

Casado is seeking a Data Engineer for a 12-month contract, fully remote from Brazil. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes to support analytics and decision-making.

You will work with SQL databases, Python/Java/Scala, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Spark, Airflow, and data governance practices, ensuring reliable, well-modeled data ecosystems and monitored pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Lake / Data Engineering environments.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT and data pipeline development.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with data integration and processing technologies.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of Spark and distributed data processing technologies.
• Experience with workflow/orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise data pipelines.

Responsibilities
