Job summary

CenterBook Asia is seeking a Data Assistant to support data capture workflows behind our systematic trading efforts. You will work with Python (pandas), SQL, Jupyter, Git, and Claude Code to maintain data pipelines and validate outputs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, validating data inputs, updating signal configurations, and generating regular reports for the Research team to inform decision-making. This role offers growth in data platform development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for reading, running, and modifying existing scripts using pandas to manage data workflows.
• Skilled in SQL and Jupyter for querying and analyzing data within a config-driven workflow environment.
• Experienced with Git for version control and collaboration on data configuration and code.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, with ability to review AI outputs for accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external data vendors.
• Meticulous attention to detail in managing data and processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

The Data Assistant supports the core data workflows behind our systematic trading effort, starting with supporting well-defined, process-driven data capture tasks, with a potential for career growth in the development of our data capture platform.

• Support day-to-day data capture of external vendor data including risk models, signal data, and partner funds position data to ensure accurate inputs for trading activities
