Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Trading Services Associate in Brazil to understand trading structures and ensure accurate capture of transactions. You will perform reconciliation checks, support intraday and end-of-day processes, and collaborate with Operations and infrastructure groups to uphold a unified, efficient control environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in trading support or related financial services, with deep knowledge of derivatives and front-to-back operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading support, operations or a related area within financial services.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and hedging products including IR swaps, FX, bonds, futures, forwards, and related instruments.
• Knowledge of front-to-back Operations process and ability to resolve issues across teams.
• Understanding of impact of Trade Support actions on Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk and Legal.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, VBA is a plus; knowledge of Python and AI tools is a strong plus.

Job description

As a Trading Services Associate, you will be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate capture of all transactions in the Risk Management Systems.
• Complete intraday and end-of-day processes, including completeness and reconciliation checks, to ensure new trading activity and general book management are processed accurately.
• Collaborate closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’.
• Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries.
• Participate in and contribute to various strategic initiatives; continuously improve and evolve processes and business architecture.

• Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading support, operations or a related area within financial services.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and hedging products, including Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Forward Rate Agreements (FRA), Foreign Exchange (FX), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bonds, and Futures.
• Knowledge of the front-to-back Operations process (including key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and the ability to facilitate issue resolution across teams.
• Understanding of the key elements of other infrastructure groups (e.g., Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Legal, Collateral) and the impact of Trade Support actions on these areas.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, explain complex topics, and challenge constructively when appropriate.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and pressurized environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, control, and project management skills.
• Advanced technical skills, especially in Excel (VBA is a plus).
