BRP in Campinas, Brazil, seeks a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer – Team Lead to guide a local team in building cloud-native data solutions and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This role blends hands-on engineering with leadership, shaping a collaborative culture, delivering scalable ELT pipelines, and partnering with architects, analysts, and stakeholders in Brazil and globally.

Qualificações

• Significant experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Python.
• Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Strong communication in English and Portuguese, and collaborative leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Brazil-based Data Engineers team.
• Design, implement, and support scalable ELT data pipelines.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Engineers in Brazil in their technical and professional development
• Design, implement, test, and support scalable, reliable ELT data pipelines
• Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, both in Brazil and internationally, to define priorities and ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across solutions
• Help establish best practices and foster a learning‑focused, inclusive engineering culture
• Contribute to continuous improvement and explore emerging technologies
• Coordinate and prioritize team activities across multiple projects
• Promote open communication, teamwork, and a positive, respectful environment
• Understand the business context to deliver meaningful and relevant solutions
• Create and maintain clear, accessible technical documentation

Technical Expertise

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Significant experience with:
  • Snowflake
  • DBT
  • Python
• Knowledge of additional technologies is a plus:
  • Azure
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Power BI

Programming Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
  • SQL
  • Python
• Familiarity with additional languages is a plus:
  • Javascript / Node.js
  • Java

Other Skills

• Experience in data profiling and validating data quality
• Familiar with DevOps practices and working in Agile teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in both Portuguese and English
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects calmly and effectively
• Passion for learning and openness to new ideas and technologies
• Collaborative leadership style, focused on empowering and supporting others
• Commitment to building an inclusive, diverse, and respectful team environment

STAND OUT WITH...

• Experience working with SAP data sources
• Power BI development experience
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and concepts
• Previous experience in formal or informal leadership roles
• Certifications in Snowflake, Azure, DBT, or relevant data engineering areas
