Amazon is seeking a Data Analyst for ICQA – Inventory Control and Quality Assurance in São Paulo. The role focuses on providing data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of quality defects, and ensuring SOX compliance in ICQA processes.

Qualificações

DATA ANALYST , ICQA – Inventory Control and Quality Assurance

The Data Analyst works closely with the ICQA Manager and operations teams in Inbound and Outbound to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of quality defects, and ensures compliance with ICQA-related SOX requirements. This role has a strong understanding of different business models and the underlying analytics, and the ability to assimilate new methodologies and data sources. They will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and with an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The complexity of research and skills for the position is well beyond basic data entry and research. It involves complex analysis and diving deep into key metrics based on requests, building and maintaining multiple databases, extensive knowledge of software applications to create tools, and understanding of multiple programming languages and data querying tools.

Key job responsibilities
Data Collection and Reporting
  • Development of data collection processes and data management systems.
  • Maintenance of data integrity (0% error rate).
  • Design queries, compile data, and generate reports in SQL and Excel.
  • Chart and graph data for reporting purposes.
  • Complete daily and weekly SOX reporting as assigned; document findings and identify escalations.
  • Develop and maintain regular SQL reporting as requested by leadership using the Amazon data warehouse.
Analysis and Problem Solving
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality defects through data mining, trend analysis, and statistical modeling.
  • Provide analytical support for ACES initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Conduct in-depth research of defect trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Data mining and problem solving to identify process gaps and opportunities.
  • Present analysis in easily digestible standard reports.
  • Work with quality leadership to improve standards and identify defects in the operation.
Operations Support
  • Work in-path, performing associate and leadership tasks to identify data-driven solutions and automations.
  • Develop automation solutions for analysis using Python or similar tools.
  • Teach leadership team how to interpret data trends as needed.
  • Support ICQA and Learning Team projects and any other priority requests as senior leadership assigns.
  • Back up for ICQA Process Assistant duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Work 40 hours a week
  • Experience with SQL and advanced Excel
  • Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience
  • Experience with end-to-end project management
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
  • Familiarity with Amazon data warehouse systems (Redshift, S3, AWS Glue).
  • Prior experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership based on data findings.
