The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. is seeking a Credentialing Application Specialist to oversee the review and processing of education provider applications. This hybrid position requires strong organizational and communication skills, suitable for candidates within commuting distance of Bethlehem, PA. The ideal applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in health education, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Summary:
The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC), a national non-profit credentialing organization is seeking aCredentialing Application Specialist. NCHEC’s vision is to promote, improve, and protect the health of people through upholding the highest quality standards in health education certifications. NCHEC is seeking a motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Credentialing Application Specialist to join our team. This position will serve as the primary contact for the review, processing, and follow-up of continuing education provider requests, applications and designations. This position requires excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Note: Candidate must be within commute distance of Bethlehem, PA. The position is hybrid, with an in-person component.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: • Minimum of bachelor’s degree preferably in health education or closely related discipline. • CHES/ MCHES certification preferred. • Familiarity with the health education profession including professional organizations, academic preparation, and Areas of Responsibility and Competencies. • Fluent in office software including: Windows 10, Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe. • Strong customer service skills. • Well-organized, highly efficient in time management and work coordination skills. • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with a minimum of supervision. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to perform duties without discrimination against any individual on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation, status as a veteran, or other legally protected status • Previous experience with database management systems a plus.

Salary50k-55k – depending on experience
