ARVORE is looking to hire a technically adept, creative individual to complement our team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative immersive and narrative-driven XR experiences, iterating and prototyping with a high level of creative freedom and with the opportunity to guide the direction of some of these endeavors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Creative Directors are responsible for defining and nurturing the product’s vision, understanding the company’s strategic goals, and keeping everyone’s efforts focused towards the same direction.

Always aligned with the Production Manager and the Head of Studio, Creative Directors are responsible for defining and constantly reviewing the scope to keep projects on budget and on time.

This work also requires establishing the foundations of the experiences in all three pillars (artistic, systems, and narrative). The Creative Directors will articulate their vision, fostering an environment of collective creativity that inspires the team to come up with the best ideas, choosing the ones that fit into a coherent whole.

MAIN CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

1. Define a clear and reasonable creative vision for the product.
2. Work closely with the Core Team members to develop their specific parts of the vision, tying together all artistic and technical elements.
3. Constantly review the priorities and scope of each product delivery and/or milestone together with the Product Manager, considering the Value Proposition and goals of the product, but at the same time championing the product’s unique vision.
4. Review production timelines, budget, and team performance with the Product Manager.
5. Nurture and communicate the overall creative direction on an ongoing basis, inspiring the team through leadership.
6. Be aware of internal and external QA results to direct creative decisions, ensuring the product meets main stakeholders' needs.
7. Guarantee the consistency and quality of the product, ensuring creative cohesion between the user experience and company strategy.
8. Serve as the spokesperson for the product’s vision within the team, for the press, and corporate management.

MUST HAVE:

• Experience in a creative leadership position on at least one high-quality professional entertainment product/property shipped or delivered in industries such as XR, Games, Movies, Television, Advertisement, or Comics.
• Positive leadership qualities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively (spoken and written).
• Fluency in English.
• Understanding and sensitivity to capturing the spirit of the moment (Zeitgeist).
• Deep understanding of current trends in XR, gaming, and entertainment industries, influencing user expectations and behaviors.
• Huge curiosity and openness to research and expand knowledge in virtual reality games, narratives, immersive art, etc.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with Google G Suite, Monday, Slack, and Github.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Previous experience with VR and AR content is desirable.
• A passion for Games, Movies, TV, Art, Animation, Electronics, RPGs, Literature, Theater, Popular Culture, and narrative experiences.
• Knowledge of other project management techniques.
• Experience in a technology or content development environment.
