Job Summary

Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, adhering to food safety standards.
4. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment properly.
5. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
6. Reports maintenance issues and safety concerns immediately.
7. Participates in safety and in-service meetings.
8. Fosters positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
9. Follows HACCP standards for food safety.
10. Uses appropriate safety equipment such as gloves and oven mitts.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
