Qualificações

Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Excellent legal writing and argumentation skills
Proficiency with legal technology tools

Experience in high-volume litigation practice
Excellent organizational skills

Responsabilidades

Analyze cases and documents from intake
Draft and review petitions, answers, briefs, motions, appeals, and other filings
Manage cases comprehensively, from filing through closure
Monitor and meet procedural deadlines
Analyze decisions, judgments, and appellate opinions, identifying the necessary measures
Handle trial-level proceedings, appeals, and judgment enforcement proceedings
Monitor and address specific-performance and payment obligations
Analyze calculations, awards, deposits, and any amounts receivable
Assess litigation strategies and settlement opportunities
Attend hearings and prepare supporting materials
Conduct case law and legislative research
Enter information into and maintain up-to-date case management systems
Liaise with clients and internal teams to obtain information and define strategies
Identify litigation risks and opportunities to improve portfolio management
Ensure matters are properly handled and closed, avoiding missed deadlines and losses
