Role and Responsibilities
Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, hands on and data-driven Customer Data Insights Sr. Manager to act as the key strategic translator between high-level business goals and Samsung’s LATAM database ecosystem. Leverage consumer data intelligence to drive regional CRM revenue, Go-To-Market data insights, customer retention, customer lifecycle movement, and loyalty, while taking operational and strategic co-leadership over the CRM team, end-to-end communication activation strategies (campaign triggers, CRM channels, team management, and subsidiaries PIC´s interface) across 7 LATAM subsidiaries.
The Sr. Manager will define strategic data requirements, establish regional reachability and suppression rules, manage the internal CRM team, and orchestrate the operational outputs from Samsung SDS and Cheil who manage the underlying database and CRM Activations.
Key Job Responsabilities
- Formulate Growth Hypotheses and Comparative Regional Analyses: Deeply analyze regional database performance, running systematic comparisons across subsidiaries to identify business bottlenecks and design hypothesis-driven growth tests (A/B testing, personalization triggers) to improve conversion and repurchase rates.
- Drive Executive Data Storytelling & Dashboarding: Synthesize complex data structures into high-impact strategic presentation decks, dashboards, utilizing visual “Big Numbers” (YoY, MoM, WoW performance, Achievement Rate vs. Plan/Target) to provide executive-ready insights.
- Design the Personalization & Next-Best-Action (NBA) Strategy: Architect the logical rules for cross-channel customer journeys, mapping automated triggers (cart abandonment, price drops, upgrades) and aligning them to predictive segments to specific regional CRM offers and channels.
- Enhance CDP as a Source of High-Quality Audiences: Provide the Customer Data Platform (CDP) as a reliable source of qualified audiences for Adobe Campaign and Insider.
- Subsidiary and Product Divisions Comparative Performance Reports: visual slide-decks comparing and highlighting performance differentials, conversion bottlenecks, and local best practices.
- Customer Lifecycle Progression & Base Movement Strategy: Architect, deploy, and monitor data-driven customer movement strategies across all lifecycle stages, leveraging predictive churn models, automated behavioral triggers, and loyalty mechanics to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
- Govern Regional Data Quality and Reachability Policies: Establish, standardize, and monitor data consistency frameworks, reachability rules, and compliance standards (LGPD/GDPR) across the regional offices, acting as a gatekeeper of database hygiene.
- Orchestrate and Manage Partner Technical squads: Coordinate and set priority of backlogs for PMs and specialists from Samsung SDS and Cheil, ensuring technical initiatives are driven by business and CRM KPIs.
- Lead Legal and Privacy Approvals: Collaborate with Legal and Data Privacy teams to navigate, draft, and approve data governance initiatives through formal collegiate committee processes.
Requirements
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields. Postgrad or MBA in Strategic Marketing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Growth Strategy is highly valued.
- Professional Experience: Experience in CRM Strategy, Business Intelligence, Growth Analytics, or Consumer Insights within major multinational consumer-oriented corporations. Strong preference for candidates from industries with high data-driven maturity such as Big Techs / Banking / Financial Services / Fintechs / Telecom or Specialized CRM Agencies.
- Low-Code & Self-Service Data Mining: Deep understanding of relational database structures, table schemas, and query logic (SQL, Power BI, CDP logic) with strong self-service data mining capabilities to independently explore database tables.
- Data Storytelling Expertise: Outstanding capability in converting data points into clean, highly visual executive presentation slides that connect data performance to commercial P&L impact.
- Generative AI & Prompt Engineering: Practical proficiency in leveraging Generative AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and advanced prompt engineering techniques to accelerate data querying, write code scripts, design hypotheses, and summarize market research.
- AI Agents & Workflows Automation: Understanding of autonomous AI agents, LLM integrations, and automation workflows to streamline customer data segmentation and campaign triggers.
- Experimentation Mindset: Proven background in running A/B testing, designing testing parameters, establishing solid control groups, and analyzing data uplifts.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating with cross-functional global matrix organizations (HQ, local subsidiaries) and managing technical external squads (Samsung SDS / Cheil).
- Languages: Advanced English is mandatory. Spanish is a highly valuable asset due to regional subsidiary coordination.
