Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced SAP FICO functional lead in São Paulo to drive project and AMS activities across Finance and Controlling modules. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, mentor consultants, and ensure alignment with support operations and governance.

The role requires hands-on SAP FICO and ECC expertise, consolidation and closing experience, and strong stakeholder management across LATAM processes.

Qualificações

• Hands-on SAP FICO functional lead experience across projects and AMS.
• Solid ECC experience with GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, CO-PA.
• Experience with monthly/annual closing in SAP FI/CO.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SAP FICO functional lead across Project and AMS workstreams.
• Liaise between business stakeholders, project, AMS teams, and vendors.
• Ensure deliverables align with support operations and governance.
• Drive knowledge transfer between implementation and support teams.
• Govern incidents, enhancements, change requests, and project developments.
• Lead solution design discussions and provide guidance for Finance and Controlling.
• Support process improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate defect resolution and root cause analysis across initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with timelines, SLAs, governance and quality standards.
• Participate in planning, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, WM, Basis, Security, ABAP.
• Mentor junior consultants and monitor risks across environments.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote SAP best practices.

In this role you will: (responsibilities):

• Act as the SAP FICO functional lead across both Project and AMS workstreams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, AMS teams, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure smooth integration and alignment of project deliverables with ongoing support operations.
• Drive knowledge transfer activities between implementation and support teams.
• Govern SAP FICO incidents, enhancements, change requests, and project-related developments.
• Lead solution design discussions and provide functional guidance for Finance and Controlling processes.
• Support business process improvements and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate defect resolution, root cause analysis, and issue prioritization across multiple initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, AMS SLAs, governance processes, and quality standards.
• Participate in project planning, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, WM, Basis, Security, and ABAP.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level consultants.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and impacts across both project and operational environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote SAP best practices across the organization.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO.
• Solid experience with SAP ECC.
• In-depth knowledge of:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Experience supporting monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Solid experience configuring SAP FI and CO modules.
• Experience with incident management, service requests, enhancements, and change management.
• Experience gathering business requirements and drafting functional specifications.
• Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP, WM, and tax solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of FSCM, Treasury, or Group Reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting LATAM financial processes.
• SAP FI or CO certification.
• Experience with interfaces, IDocs, and EDI integrations.
