Lenovo seeks a seasoned AWS-focused Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable cloud solutions and drive modernization across enterprise IT environments. You will lead IaC, automation, security, and governance initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable, cost-efficient AWS architectures.

Required/desired include 5+ years in AWS, English fluency, and relevant certifications. Spanish is a plus; Lenovo values diverse talent and global collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/CS/Engineering.
  • Advanced English fluency: reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Spanish is desirable.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (required or strongly desired).
  • Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge in ServiceNow platform is desirable.
  • Experience with Digital Workplace and Enterprise Infrastructure environments is desirable.

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize AWS environments following Well-Architected Framework best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures.
  • Support modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Configure and manage AWS networking, security, identity, and access management services.
  • Develop automation solutions using AWS Lambda, AWS Systems Manager, and related AWS services.
  • Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support compliance, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and security initiatives.

Key Objectives of Position

Ensure optimal AWS cloud platform performance, governance, security, and adoption by delivering scalable cloud solutions, automation

initiatives, and integrations that support business and IT requirements.

Day-To-Day Tasks
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize AWS environments following Well-Architected Framework best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures.
  • Support modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Configure and manage AWS networking, security, identity, and access management services.
  • Develop automation solutions using AWS Lambda, AWS Systems Manager, and related AWS services.
  • Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support compliance, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and security initiatives.
Key Competencies Needed
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Security, and Monitoring services.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS architectures.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and/or Terraform).
  • Experience with automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and identity management.
  • Experience with AWS monitoring and observability tools, such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management practices is desirable.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies in consulting, architecture, engineering, or administration roles.
  • Experience leading or supporting cloud migration and transformation projects.
  • Experience implementing cloud security, governance, and compliance controls.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS core services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with multi-account AWS strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced English fluency: reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Spanish is desirable.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (required or strongly desired).
  • Additional AWS certifications (Professional, Security, DevOps Engineer, Network Specialty, etc.) are desirable.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge in ServiceNow platform is desirable.
  • Experience in Digital Workplace and Enterprise Infrastructure environments is desirable.
