Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Belo Horizonte seeks a candidate with a strong engineering background to join our metals and mining practice. You will work closely with senior client executives and McKinsey colleagues in entrepreneurial environments to shape strategic solutions.

We look for a Bachelor's degree (Master's, MBA or PhD preferred in Metallurgy, Chemical, Petroleum, Geology, Geoscience, or Industrial) and proven problem-solving skills. Native Portuguese with fluent English is required.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree and/or Masters, MBA, PhD with Engineering background (Metallurgy, Chemical, Petroleum, Geology, Geoscience, Industrial)
• Proven experience in metals and mining sector and business management
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to untangle complex issues
• Strong logical reasoning and creative thinking skills
• Ability to take initiative and eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others, and take personal risks
• Native level language skills in Portuguese with fluent language skills in English (both writing and speaking)
