Your role and responsibilities

- Execute activities related to configuration management, including registering, updating, and monitoring configuration items (CIs) in the CMDB.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of CMDB data by conducting audits and correcting inconsistencies.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of CMDB tools, configuring integrations and reports as needed.
• Support the development and documentation of Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Collaborate with Change Management and Service Management teams to ensure process consistency and alignment.
• Produce regular reports on the status and compliance of configuration items.
• Identify improvements in Configuration Management processes and propose solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Required technical and professional expertise

- Practical experience with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or similar.

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks (ITIL v4 certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with audit and validation processes for configuration items.
• Skills in data analysis and report generation using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic understanding of automation and scripting for configuration management (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with CMDB integration in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving configuration-related issues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results within deadlines.

Preferred technical and professional experience

- Experience in Configuration Management or related areas.
