Overview

The Buyer is the professional responsible for the procurement processes of materials and services, ensuring the best commercial, operational, and strategic results.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with national and international suppliers, supply chain management, with a strong focus on cost optimization, quality, compliance, and delivery times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key domestic and international suppliers.
• Secure the best terms in cost, quality, and delivery time.
• Optimize end-to-end procurement processes, from requisition to supplier payment, including quality, accounting, and tax steps.
• Promote automation and digital transformation initiatives within procurement workflows.
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives and strategic sourcing opportunities.
• Propose and monitor corrective actions with the supplier.

Requirements

• Completed higher Education in Engineering or related areas
• Experience with purchasing negotiations in the industrial sector
• Experience with purchasing negotiations national and international
• Communication and interpersonal skills for negotiations
• Expertise with ERP/MRP systems
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Power BI skills will be a plus
• Advanced English
