Mars is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to shape the evolution of our enterprise cloud platform, Mars Cloud, in Sao Paulo-Guararema. You will define strategy, drive innovation, and build the foundation for a multi-cloud future with an AI-first approach to infrastructure.

You’ll lead architecture across Azure, Terraform-based IaC, and the Internal Developer Portal to empower engineering teams while ensuring governance and scale.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience architecting and managing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, including landing zones, governance, and core services.
• Hands-on, demonstrable skill in writing clean, reusable Terraform modules.
• A strong grasp of cloud fundamentals (compute, storage, identity) and large-scale solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Architect the Core Platform: design and build reusable infrastructure for scalable cloud adoption.
• Lead GenAI integration into infrastructure engineering and IaC workflows.
• Drive multi-cloud strategy (Azure, AWS, GCP) and assess integrations from acquisitions.
• Enable self-service cloud consumption with governance via an Internal Developer Portal (IDP).

We’re looking for a leader to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) and architect the evolution of our enterprise cloud platform, \"Mars Cloud.\" This is more than a job; it’s a high-impact opportunity to define strategy, drive innovation, and build the foundation for our multi-cloud future. What You’ll Achieve

• Architect the Core Platform: Design and build cutting-edge, reusable infrastructure with Terraform, creating the backbone for scalable and standardized cloud adoption across Mars.


• Pioneer AI in Infrastructure: Lead the charge in applying GenAI to infrastructure engineering. Use prompt engineering and spec-driven development to generate, review, and standardize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at an unprecedented scale.


• Drive Multi-Cloud & M&A Strategy: Be a key player in our multi-cloud expansion (Azure, AWS, GCP) and take the lead on assessing and integrating cloud environments from company acquisitions.


• Empower Developers: Enable self-service cloud consumption and robust governance through our Internal Developer Portal (IDP), putting power directly into the hands of our engineering teams.

What You'll Bring (Key Skills)

• Proven Cloud Expertise: 5+ years of experience architecting and managing enterprise-scale cloud environments.


• Deep Azure Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, including landing zones, governance, and core services.


• Terraform Mastery: Hands-on, demonstrable skill in writing clean, reusable, and automated Terraform modules.


• Architectural Vision: A strong grasp of cloud fundamentals (compute, storage, identity) and the ability to design cohesive, large-scale solutions.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with AWS and/or GCP.


• Familiarity with Internal Developer Portals (IDP).


• Hands-on experience using GenAI / AI coding assistants for infrastructure.


• Certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Terraform Associate.
