Coherent Solutions is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to modernize and govern complex cloud- and hybrid-infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will design secure, resilient, and cost-efficient platforms and enable platform capabilities in collaboration with product engineering and data teams.

You will assess workloads, build migration roadmaps, design governed landing zones, automate provisioning, and enforce zero-trust security across cloud resources and CI/CD workloads.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering with hands-on Azure and production experience on at least two cloud providers.
• Strong experience with cloud networking, IAM, compute, IaaS/PaaS, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Proficiency in IaC with Terraform and/or Bicep, including landing zones and policy controls.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy governed cloud landing zones, standardizing networking, identity and policies via IaC.

• Implement zero-trust segmentation at IT/OT boundary for secure connectivity of critical systems.
• Design DR architectures with defined RTO/RPO and automate failover testing.
• Develop CI/CD templates, policy-as-code, cost governance dashboards, and self-service platforms.

Project Description

The project focuses on modernizing and governing complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP, supporting enterprise applications as well as data and AI/ML workloads. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design secure, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, and platform capabilities in collaboration with product engineering and data teams.

What You'll Do

• Assess and classify enterprise workloads running on Azure IaaS and PaaS, define migration approaches, and build sequenced modernization roadmaps;
• Design and deploy governed cloud landing zones, standardizing networking, identity, policy, and subscription topology through infrastructure as code;
• Establish automated infrastructure provisioning standards across environments to reduce manual operations and uncontrolled subscription growth;
• Govern identity and access across cloud resources, enterprise SaaS applications, and CI/CD workloads using Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access policies, and workload identity federation;
• Architect primary and failover connectivity between data center facilities and cloud regions, including ExpressRoute, SD-WAN, cross-cloud interconnects, and segmented traffic flows;
• Implement zero-trust segmentation at the IT/OT boundary, ensuring secure and policy-controlled connectivity for SCADA, HMI, EdgeOS, and enterprise systems;
• Design disaster recovery architectures for cloud workloads and hybrid connectivity, define RTO/RPO targets, and automate failover testing;
• Build secure compute and storage environments on AWS or GCP to support AI/ML, data engineering, and next-generation application workloads;
• Develop standardized CI/CD templates, policy-as-code controls, cost governance mechanisms, and cloud spend dashboards;
• Build self-service platform capabilities that enable internal teams to consume infrastructure through documented APIs and templates, collaborating with product engineering and infrastructure teams on network ownership and data flow requirements;

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and production experience with at least two major cloud providers, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Strong experience with cloud networking, IAM, compute, IaaS/PaaS services, and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, including conditional access, workload identity federation, SAML/SCIM, and service principal governance;
• Proven expertise in IaC using Terraform and/or Bicep, including governed landing zones, module registries, and cloud infrastructure migration;
• Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, including pipeline-as-code, security scanning, and deployment gates;
• Solid understanding of zero-trust architecture, IT/OT boundary security, and industrial control environments such as SCADA, HMI, and IOT;
• Experience designing and validating disaster recovery architectures across regions and cloud providers, including RTO/RPO definition and automated failover testing;
• Familiarity with FinOps practices and tools, including cost tagging, spend attribution, showback/chargeback models, CloudHealth, CloudCor, or native cloud cost tools;
• Experience with policy-as-code frameworks such as Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, GCP Organization Policies, or Open Policy Agent;
• English level: B2 or higher;
