Espire Infolabs (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect to join the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) in a hybrid role. You will lead enterprise cloud design, set architecture standards, and drive secure, cost‑optimized implementations with AWS expertise and strong automation skills.

You will collaborate across application teams, Cloud Ops, SRE, DBA, security, and business stakeholders to implement scalable cloud solutions and modern engineering practices.

Qualificações

• 7–8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, S3, IAM.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).
• Proficiency with CI/CD and IaC tools (GitLab, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Scripting and automation with Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Drive adoption of AWS best practices across projects and platforms.
• Partner with enterprise architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
• Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and more.
• Develop IaC using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Develop scripts using Python, Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Implement and support container-based deployments and orchestration.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure cloud security governance and compliance.

We are looking for a candidate who can design enterprise‑scale cloud solutions and translate architecture into working implementations through automation and modern engineering practices.

The successful candidate will help shape cloud strategy, architecture standards, security controls, governance framework, and cost optimization initiatives while working closely with application teams, Cloud Ops, SRE, DBA, security, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess strong AWS expertise with practical experience in cloud‑native technologies, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud security, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures following security best practices:
  • Least privilege access
  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Secrets management
  • Identity and access controls
• Implement and support cloud security controls including:
  • IAM
  • KMS
  • CloudTrail
  • GuardDuty
  • Security monitoring
  • Network security controls
• Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to address audit findings and compliance requirements.
• Support governance initiatives including policy implementation and cloud guardrails.

Basic Qualifications

• 7 – 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, EFS, FSx, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, routing, and security controls.
• Solid understanding of container‑based deployments, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as GitLab, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and cost‑optimized architectures.
• Good understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels, including engineers, architects, and management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as:
  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • AWS DevOps Engineer
  • AWS Security Specialty
• Experience with AWS AI services such as Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, Agent Core, or other Generative AI capabilities.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with multi‑cloud environments (AWS and OCI).
• Experience working in high‑availability or regulated environments.
