About The Position

• Manage material requests for stores or projects, ensuring proper authorization procedures.
• Oversee the receiving of materials and equipment according to issued orders.
• Control all received materials, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
• Update the VMT regarding warehouse activities and incoming materials/POs.
• Coordinate warehouse team activities and assign tasks to personnel.
• Train newly hired storekeepers.
• Manage storage, ensuring proper storing and preservation of materials.
• Handle distribution of materials, including uploading and downloading.
• Perform periodic and slow-moving inventory analysis in collaboration with corporate departments.
• Assist in preparing periodic sample inventories.
• Prepare and pack materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures.
• Maintain constant communication and reporting to vessel management and corporate departments.
• Monitor delivery deadlines and notify relevant departments of delays, requesting intervention.
• Ensure proper codification and classification of warehouse materials and machine codes.
• Support the setup and layout of stores.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Perform safety-critical tasks as specified in onboard documents.
