Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Chief Data Integration Engineer to lead large-scale data integration initiatives. You will evaluate existing ingestion pipelines, review architecture, and guide modernization efforts to improve reliability and performance.

You'll collaborate with discovery teams to shape the target state and estimate effort for implementation. This role demands strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data Integration.
• Experience leading teams or projects.
• ETL/ELT, data warehousing and cloud-native data integration expertise.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Snowflake, dbt and related tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data integration solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and scripting abilities.
• Fluent English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Assess current data ingestion and transformation pipelines and gauge design effectiveness.
• Review architecture docs and code; apply accelerators to speed reviews.
• Deliver analysis outcomes and complexity estimates to guide direction.
