Colgate is seeking a Chemical Analyst in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil to perform physical-chemical and instrumental analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products in compliance with quality standards.

The role includes managing reagents and standards, and supporting systems such as SAP and LIMS. You will participate in audits, CAPA, and consumer complaints handling, ensuring data integrity.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in the Quality Control area.
• English – intermediate level.

Responsabilidades

• Perform physical-chemical and instrumental analyses (HPLC, GC, AAS, titration, NMR) on raw materials and finished products.
• Manage aging/stability tests and reagent inventories.
• Administer SAP QM module, LIMS, eBuy, and related budgets.
• Record, supervise, and support root cause analyses for non-conformances and CAPA.
• Create and update SOPs and maintain technical documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, consumer complaints handling, and data integrity.

Chemical Analyst

Job Summary

The professional will be responsible for performing physical-chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role involves managing reagents, technical documentation (SOPs), non-conformances, and supporting systems such as SAP and LIMS. Additionally, the position supports internal and external audits, departmental projects, and consumer complaints handling, ensuring data integrity and company standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform physical-chemical and instrumental analysis (HPLC, GC, Atomic Absorption, Potentiometric Titration, and NMR) on raw materials, work in process, and finished products, as well as managing aging/stability tests.
• Handle the inventory management of reagents, primary and secondary standards, consumables, and the annual raw material analysis plan.
• Administer LIMS, eBuy, departmental budget management, QM module in SAP, and projects such as Apolo and AoDocs.
• Record, supervise, and support root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain technical documentation.
• Support internal and external audit programs, consumer complaints management, and the CRS system while maintaining data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering.
• Work experience in the Quality Control area.
• English – intermediate level.

Desirable Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP (QM module) and LIMS tools.
