You will manage P&L, market risk reports, and month-end close processes while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, strong analytical skills, and is proficient in both Portuguese and English. Familiarity with Excel and VBA is essential, and knowledge of Alteryx and Python is a plus.

As a Product Control Associate, you will provide support to the financial controllers and trading desks, ensuring that the P&L, market risk exposures, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.

Job responsibilities

• Production of Market Risk and P&L reporting and month-end close processes.
• Produce, consolidate and analyze daily, monthly and yearly Market Risk and P&L information.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management.
• Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives.
• Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner.
• Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control.
• Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering or related areas.
• 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and detail oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, in Portuguese and English
• Strong Excel skills and good VBA knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Eager to challenge current processes.
