Clay Community School Corporation is aggressively seeking bus drivers to fill an open route or serve as a substitute driver.

Qualifications

As a condition of employment, a driver must be twenty‑one (21) years of age or older, possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) issued by the State of Indiana, and meet the physical and certification requirements mandated by the State of Indiana and Clay Community Schools.

Drivers who have not driven for Clay Community Schools within the previous 365 days are ineligible for the physical exam benefit.

The school corporation will pay all application fees for the Commercial Driver’s License after the driver has worked for Clay Community Schools three times.
