Work together with an Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer of the industrial and agricultural industry to support in the product development & optimization of automated and autonomous control application software using C, in an embedded environment (Linux based), following Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities :

• Actively support and share technical guidance with the team, coaching in technical topics, providing direction, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks as per customer expectations while engaging in technical discussions with stakeholders and customers.
• Responsible for software development activities, ensuring performance to specifications using corporate guidelines and techniques.
• Ensure high-quality design supported by testing and verification methods.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Discuss approaches, activities, risks, and issues proactively with customers and project stakeholders.
• Develop software design covering related requirements and respecting the software architecture.
• Perform peer reviews to improve implementation quality.
• Conduct early validation of feature proposals and re-design as needed.

Mandatory Skills Description :

• 7+ years of experience in automotive or similar industry with embedded software development.
• Advanced experience in Embedded Linux Controller Application development with Embedded C.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with ROS2 systems (Linux Jazzy / humble).
• Basic to intermediate experience with communication protocols (J1939, CAN, CAN2B, CANFD).
• Knowledge of MQTT, Ethernet.
• Experience with configuration and change management tools (e.g., Git, GitHub).
• Ability to translate and break down system requirements into features.
• Solid experience in embedded system architectures, microcontrollers, Embedded C/C++, compilers, and development environments.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with software development processes.
• Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe).
• Customer-facing communication skills, team player with solid communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to solve technical problems independently and support others.
• Intercultural orientation and adaptability to change.
• Proactive and collaborative attitude.
• Result-oriented, customer-centric approach.
• Ability to travel to the US.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

• Knowledge or basic experience with other programming languages (Python / C++).
• Experience with behavioral tree design.
• Experience with Gazebo.
• Knowledge in safety-related processes (ISO26262).
• Knowledge in security-related processes (ISO21434).
• Strong knowledge about quality assurance, software release procedures, and capability models (e.g., ASPICE, CMMI).
• Experience working with diagnostics (UDS ISO 14229, SAEJ1939).
