The role involves working with an automotive OEM in the industrial and agricultural sectors to support product development and optimization of automated and autonomous control software using C in an embedded Linux environment, following Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide the technical team, providing coaching and direction.
• Ensure software development activities meet performance specifications using corporate standards.
• Maintain high-quality design supported by testing and verification.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders and customers on technical approaches, risks, and issues.
• Develop software designs based on requirements and architecture.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality.
• Participate in early validation and redesign of features as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in automotive or similar embedded software industry.
• Advanced Embedded Linux application development with Embedded C.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with ROS2 systems on Linux.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of communication protocols (J1939, CAN, CANFD).
• Experience with MQTT, Ethernet.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
• Ability to translate system requirements into features.
• Solid understanding of embedded architectures, microcontrollers, C/C++, and development environments.
• Knowledge of software development processes and agile methodologies (SAFe).
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Intercultural competence and adaptability.
• Proactive, collaborative, and result-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel to the US.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Python or C++.
• Knowledge of behavioral tree design, Gazebo, ISO26262, ISO21434, and software quality assurance models.
• Experience with diagnostics protocols like UDS and SAEJ1939.
