Job Summary:

Performs various accounting tasks in support of the Analytics CoE (Center of Excellence).

What you will do:

Possible areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Support the cost monitoring process for machines and components produced at Caterpillar.
• Support analysis for component source changes and other comparative studies.
• Support the SCR (Standard Cost Revision) process.
• Support improvement projects related to Caterpillar's strategic business, including automation and other initiatives.

What you will have:

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Basic requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress (expected graduation by mid-2027).
• Knowledge of financial analysis, cost management, and product structure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Pre-Advanced English level, with the ability to participate in daily interactions with global teams, including meetings, presentations, and written communication.

Top candidates will also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical, automation, and digital tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, Python, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and leading cross-functional initiatives and projects.
• Advanced to Fluent English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.
