The Business Controller is leading the activities to support commercial team on business decision and opportunity identification and improve transparency to better achieve business target. Partnering closely with sales, operation, product line, R&D and management team of business unit to boost profitable growth in the market and segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth by margin analysis and porvide transparent business status quo to the management, foresee and alarm potential business risks
• Anticipate market developments/external trends, staying ahead of competitors and market to build effective solutions Responsible for budget abd forecast cycle. Coordinate with all relevant functions to prepare a reliable and explanable budget and forecast. Challenge the functions to achieve business target
• Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast to bridge the business gap and provide actionable proposals to business to mitigate the unexpected impact and recover the performance
• Define the relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the success of both operation and commerce
• Monitor the performance within business unit
• Own product cost through the project and drive the cost reduction of the product to be competitive in the new market
• Follow up the sales and product performance in revenue after product launch
• Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, asset management, capital efficiency, productivity, etc.);
• Initiate and lead the harmonization and improvement projects
• Provide ad hoc analysis to address business needs
