Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to drive business insights using statistical modeling, machine learning, and operations research. You will lead a team translating complex problems into actionable solutions for multiple stakeholders.

The role requires 7+ years in Analytics, 3+ years in people management, and strong SQL/Python skills with English at an advanced level. This position is based in São Paulo with a focus on strategic analytics initiatives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Postgraduate degree, master's or doctorate will be considered a plus.
• Essential knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, machine learning and/or operations research.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in Business Analytics / Analytics.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a team manager.
• Practical and technical knowledge of SQL and Python.
• English – Advanced level preferred.
• Advantage: Previous experience as a manager or leader of teams in analytical areas.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain continuous contact with business areas to identify opportunities for process improvement or generation of strategic insights through predictive models, machine learning techniques, optimization, and operations research.
• Manage the team responsible for translating business problems into analytical solutions, ensuring clarity for the technical team during implementation.
• Lead meetings confidently, understanding stakeholders' needs and turning them into project opportunities.
• Validate and evaluate analytical, data science, and operations research solutions, guiding the best approaches for each challenge.
• Apply best practices in project management, reviewing timelines, identifying critical points, and recognizing all stakeholders involved.
• Have knowledge of change management for application across various projects within the area.
• Prepare project documentation and functional documentation for solutions, acting as the interface with client areas and ensuring delivery cadence — with clearly defined start, middle, and end.
