Places for People seeks a Business Analyst to support large change initiatives by identifying needs, defining requirements and proposing practical solutions. You will work with stakeholders to scope projects, understand systems and processes, and produce clear business and solution requirements.

You will lead workshops, develop stakeholder communications and help teams understand change impact. You will model processes, drive continuous improvements and maintain comprehensive documentation.

More about your role

As our Business Analyst, you will support large and complex change initiatives by identifying business needs, defining requirements and recommending practical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to agree the scope of projects, understand existing systems and processes, and produce clear business and solution requirements.

You will lead workshops and discussions, develop stakeholder communication plans and help teams understand the impact of proposed changes. You will model and improve business processes, assess improvements against agreed performance measures and support the resolution of conflicting requirements. You will also maintain accurate documentation covering requirements, processes, change requests, objectives and agreed actions.

Essential criteria

• Experience of delivering business change, process improvement, or transformation projects within a commercial environment.
• Experience as a Business Analyst
• Ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into practical process improvements and solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting or delivering technology-enabled change initiatives.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive efficiencies through process redesign.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

More about you

You are an organised and analytical Business Analyst who can turn complex information into clear requirements, processes and recommendations. You can plan and prioritise your workload, meet demanding deadlines and resolve day-to-day project issues with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience of SSRS, data-warehousing concepts or working in a similar industry would be useful, as would a bachelor's degree, but these are not essential. No criminal record check is required for this role.
