Jobtailor seeks an experienced facilities maintenance professional to lead layout and renovation initiatives across our unit network. You will coordinate maintenance activities, oversee contractors, and ensure cost-effective facility improvements aligned with company needs.

The role requires overseeing budgets, supplier management, and compliance with regulatory standards, while maintaining strong communication with each unit for ongoing upkeep and planning.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Building/Construction Technology.
• Experience overseeing building maintenance and contractors during renovations.
• Experience in maintenance at non-construction Retail is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop layout projects for stores and support areas for events and new spaces.
•  Provide technical support for building maintenance and vendor selection.
•  Prepare renovation budgets and oversee service providers.
•  Manage external visual communications and façade/totem upkeep.
•  Monitor department expenses and optimize spending.
•  Support project development for unit maintenance.
•  Process invoices, validate expenses, and manage supplier records.
•  Assist Regulatory/Legalization with façades and building adaptations.
•  Oversee central building maintenance and coordinate the maintenance team.
•  Identify new service providers and materials for projects.
•  Request investments for maintenance and façade requirements.
•  Maintain communication with units on maintenance matters.
•  Structure and implement a Maintenance Plan across locations.
•  Develop Organizational Procedures and manuals for the department.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop layout projects for stores and support areas as needed, driven by improvements in workspace arrangement and the creation of new spaces, thematic or otherwise, for internal/external events or placement of work teams.
• Provide technical support to units regarding building maintenance, clarifying technical questions, advising on cost‑effective product options, and supporting the hiring of quality service providers.
• Prepare layout projects and descriptive specifications for renovations, whether for opening, closure or revitalization of units. Based on the defined scope, prepare budgets for services and material purchases, contract service providers, and oversee the execution of the work until delivery.
• Provide technical support for the maintenance of external visual communication of units—such as façades and totems—and support internal visual communication demands that require building adaptations. Lead renovations or replacements of external visual communication when necessary.
• Monitor the performance of the department’s expense accounts and released investments, including expense reclassification and action plans to reduce or optimize spending.
• Support support areas in preparing projects related to the units.
• Perform administrative processes, such as entering invoices, validating area account expenses, registering suppliers, monitoring contractors’ documentation, and executing lump‑sum contracts.
• Support the Regulatory/Legalization area by providing information and documents related to façades and unit layout projects and/or building adaptations for unit regularization.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the Central (headquarters) building by supervising the maintenance team in responding to requests and other conservation services.
• Map and qualify new service providers and materials.
• Request investments for building maintenance and façade demands when necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with units to advise them on maintenance matters.
• Structure and implement a Maintenance Plan for the company’s units, ensuring execution across all locations.
• Develop and keep updated the Organizational Procedures (OPs) and manuals related to the department’s operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an undergraduate degree in Building/Construction Technology (Tecnólogo in Edificações).
• Experience overseeing building maintenance and contractors during renovations.
• Experience in maintenance at companies not focused on civil construction, especially in Retail, is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
