OPmobility is seeking a BU PROGRAM MANAGER to lead a high‑stakes mobility program from definition to production. You will manage scope, cost, and schedule, balance customer objectives with internal priorities, and ensure profitability while delivering on-time results across multiple teams.

In this global role, you will coordinate cross‑functional work streams, present gateway reports, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Owns project scope, budget, and timing across the entire program.
  • Represents OPmobility to the customer and drives APQP-style deliverables.
  • Leads core team members and manages development budgets and cash flow.
  • Prepares and presents gateway reports; tracks risks and actions.
  • Ensures compliance with EHS and quality requirements.

  • Project Definition
  • Ensures the OPTIMAP Project plan and total development budget is in accordance with the agreed Customer StatementofWork and validated project scope.
  • Leads the core team member’s OPTIMAP work packages and their agreed development budgets, in agreement with the project objectives and the project scope
  • Establishes and manages the master project timing plan and consolidates negotiated planning of each core team member ensuring it conforms to the customer and OPTIMAP timing plans
  • Responsible for the profitability of the project and sets the core teammembers’ target to work towards in line with the project objectives. (Development hours, PRU, investments, cash flow, Costs of Non-Quality).
  • Follows and applies the direction of the division cascaded by the Program director.
  • At the end of theprojectassesses the status against the original project objectives and feeds back lessons learned.
  • Actions management / Reporting / Risks
  • In line with the OPTIMAP Project Plan, consolidates the global project status and ensures that the core teams are accountable for their status for the deliverables completion in the division Information Systems.
  • Manages and identifies deviations from the planned Project Plan and validates the actions proposed by the core team members to realign.
  • Responsible fororganizingproject meetings, project reviews and end of phase reviews with all core team members to review project status and project action plan follow-up.
  • Prepares and presents the gateway reports to the OPTIMAP committee and, in anticipation of the gate event, issues the gate validation report.
  • Consolidates the threats and opportunities of each department,prioritizesand manages the action plan to respond to the risks throughout the project phases.
  • Responsible for the financial control / reporting of the project budget using the standardBGtools to consolidate andreportingcash flow and profitability to program reviews.
  • Split of the project development budget by department and delegation to the core team members for their financial control / reporting (excluding payment/expenditure authorization).
  • Manages the scope change (internal / external) process and ensures the project budget is updated (hours, investment and production costs).
  • Manages project development expenditure versus the planned budget, identifies any deviation (hours, investments and production costs), and takes appropriate actions to realign.
  • Manages the project cash flow, including tooling and other costs. Only project teammemberscan authorize payment to suppliers respectingOPs procedures and terms.
  • Responsible for ensuring the contribution and actions of all project team members to achieve a non-event launch.
  • Challenges that the optimum technical and manufacturing solutions / choices are made by the project team to meet the design to cost project objectives.
  • Provides periodic reporting to the program director, plant director, department managers and sales director highlighting the key project progress and risks through the program review process.
  • Follows the project reporting of each core team member to manage the escalation process of issues and risks and the achievement of their project actions.
  • Team / people
  • Ensures the coordination of the project team, communication management, project meeting organization, conflict resolution and building an effective team.
  • Ensures the project team applies the methodology of development - OPTIMAP through adequate division Information Systems
  • In line with the project development budget identifies the resource needs, skills and locations to meet the project objectives.
  • Contributes to the annual assessment process of the core team members.
  • Responsibleto ensurethe project teamapplycompany standards and best practices as defined by each department tomaximisethe productivity of the development budget.
  • Ensures the health and safety of the project team andthe respect ofthe environment
  • Appliesand respects the procedures of the engineering and plant sites and the responsibility for control or destruction of project parts and waste.
  • Customer
  • IsOP’s accountable representative of the project for the customer
  • With the support of the PQL ensures the actions of the customer APQP process and final customer validation files (PPAP, PSW...) are cascaded and managed through the project team.
  • Responsible for the coordination / management of all the project team members’ communications to the customer and ensure the core team members take their responsibility in front of the customer.
  • Is responsible for ensuring that all the customer deliverables (customer approval, APQP, build deliveries etc.) are managed and delivered by the project team and reports the progress to the customer in line with the agreed StatementOfWork.
  • Identifies to the Commercial Project Manager and the customer, customer scope changes to the agreed Customer Statement of Work in accordancetothe budget of development (hours, travel costs, costs / hour) and the OPTIMAP project plan.
  • Supports the Commercial Project Manager in the negotiation of customer scope changes.
  • Department
  • Participates in the establishment and the delivery of the department progress plans
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of the departments, organization and methodologies, with actions of lessons learned, best practices and productivity.
  • Cascading / be a mentor for another junior program manager.
