Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Brazil is seeking an Associate/VP for Institutional Sales to cover asset managers, hedge funds, banks and other institutional clients across flow and structured products in Brazil.

You will provide day-to-day client coverage, respond to pricing requests, develop trade ideas, and coordinate with trading desks and onboarding teams to execute complex transactions.

Strong relationships with market participants and knowledge of rates, FX and structured products are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Fixed Income Sales.
• Experience covering hedge funds and knowledge of flow products including FX, options and rates derivatives.
• Knowledge of bank products including cross-currency swaps, structured notes and margin loans.
• Strong relationships with market participants and prior direct client coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day client coverage, including responding to pricing requests and providing market color
• Identify market opportunities and develop trade ideas for clients
• Partner with trading desks across the firm to facilitate risk recycling and coordinate the execution of sensitive and complex transactions
• Partner with Credit and Onboarding teams to address the needs of new and existing clients
• Facilitate client engagement with the firm’s traders and research analysts by organizing client visits, roadshows and regular meetings
• Support the structured products business for banks, including margin loans, balance sheet solutions and complex hedging structures
• Partner with GCB to identify new business opportunities with banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions

Job Description

The Brazil InstitutionalSales team is responsible for covering asset managers, hedge funds, banks and other institutional clients across flow and structured products. The team works with a wide array of products and solutions, including Local and Global Rates, FX, Equities, Structured Financing and Balance Sheet Solutions, under J.P. Morgan’s Global Markets division.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day client coverage, including responding to pricing requests and providing market color
• Identify market opportunities and develop trade ideas for clients
• Partner with trading desks across the firm to facilitate risk recycling and coordinate the execution of sensitive and complex transactions
• Partner with Credit and Onboarding teams to address the needs of new and existing clients
• Facilitate client engagement with the firm’s traders and research analysts by organizing client visits, roadshows and regular meetings
