Hatch Ltd. in Brazil seeks an experienced Estimator to develop capital cost estimates for large multidisciplinary projects in an EPCM setting. You will lead the estimating process from scope to presentation, applying first principles and proven methodologies.

The role requires 10+ years in estimating, site labor knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. You will collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate cost baselines for clients and internal reviews.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in a first principle estimating environment.
• Experience on large multidiscipline industrial projects in an EPCM environment.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with estimating tools and systems.
• Site experience including hands on knowledge of direct construction field labor and productivity rates.
• Knowledge/experience with estimating software and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed project Capital Cost Estimates through the range of Hatch estimate classifications (FEL 1–4).
• Understanding estimating scope of work, deliverables, level of engineering, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, reports etc.
• Calculation of direct and indirect field costs from first principles or factorization as applicable.
• Calculation of cash expenditure, predicted escalation over project duration.
• Prepare written documentation, estimating plans, basis of estimate and report sections to support the estimating efforts.
• Presentation of final capital estimate to clients.
• Responsible for estimating scope of work, deliverables, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, reports etc.
• Delivery of an accurate and comprehensive estimate in accordance with company/practice estimating procedures, standards and best industry practices.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed project Capital Cost Estimates through the range of Hatch estimate classifications (FEL 1, 2, 3 and 4).

Understanding estimating scope of work, deliverables, level of engineering, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, reports etc.

Calculation of direct and indirect field costs from first principles or factorization as applicable.

Calculation of cash expenditure, predicted escalation over project duration.

Prepare written documentation, estimating plans, basis of estimate and report sections to support the estimating efforts.

Presentation of final capital estimate to clients.

Responsible for estimating scope of work, deliverables, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, reports etc.

Delivery of an accurate and comprehensive estimate in accordance with company/practice estimating procedures, standards and best industry practices.

Calculatedirect and indirect costs, cash expenditures and monitorescalation over the project duration.

Qualifications and Experience:

10 + years of experience in a first principle estimating environment, ideally on large multidiscipline industrial projects in an EPCM environment.

Strong MS Office skills and experience with estimating tools and systems.

Site experience including hands on knowledge of direct construction field labor and productivity rates.

• Knowledge/experience with estimating software and databases.

Knowledge of EPC/LSTK estimating techniques.
